Salaam (peace) to all my readers,
I'm joining in on my 2nd or 3rd year of this challenge. I just wanted to let you know I'll be keeping you updated, so you can go after me if I don't do so well... hehe :-D
Here's a blurb of what I hope to be writing:
(the main character) has a crush and that crush goes overseas, and while he's gone another guy falls in love with (the main character). (the main character) loves him back and forgets about her crush. She says yes to be engaged. (the main character's) crush comes back and he's devastated when he sees the ring. What will he do? What will she do? Who will she choose?
I'm doing this as part of a chain- here is some of the others. Enjoy!

Peace to you too! Love the chain of blurbs - that's cool!
I'm into NaNo year 2, and somehow I've written 2,800 words today, and am really excited so far. A blurb for my story is:
An alienated and “cursed” young man (hero) makes the mistake of calling on an evil sorceress (opponent) for help, is apprenticed to a grizzled falconer (life-changing ally), and rescued by an annoyingly determined young swordswoman (ally/romance) and a griffin in need of a watch-partner (friend/ally) whose heroism helps him decide between his own longing for personal freedom and the fate of his country (battle within and without).
I might post this on my blog tomorrow - thanks for the idea! and have fun with NaNoWriMo!
That story idea sounds really good, I've always liked the love-triangle story. (I'm secretly hoping she'll go for the crush because it seems as if he was faithful to her while overseas) Good luck to you =)
Ooooh, sounds like a good premise. I totally have no synopsis for mine, starting to think I need one... hahaha. Good luck!
Interesting Fida - Hoping things will go as you wish and looking forward hearing more on this!
Take care.
Looking forward to reading the full story one day! :) I'm year three and I am going to try and do something a bit different from the first two nano-novels :)
Great premise! And very real since I had a similiar experience in college with an old boyfriend who was hurt when he saw the ring my future husband had given me.
Great blog!
Visiting from Birth of a Novel
Classic. I love the love triangle too. It's always fun to watch our main characters squirm while they make decisions.
I love your idea! I really enjoy a good love story and this looks like it has potential!
Hope your first week went well. The story sounds great.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll update you all with a post soon.
I hope you are all doing well with your novel and thanks again!
