Salaam,
Can you believe it? Ramadan is already 1/3 gone! Alhamdulillah I started new habits I shoulve done a loooonnnng time ago.
My Reflection:
1. How's my Ramadan going so far? (Good? Bad? Ugly?) It's normal like any regular day with a little productivity. I should be doing more.
2. How's my energy levels during the day/night? When do I feel most energetic and when do I feel most tired? During and right after sahoor I'm full of energy and that's when I read Quran and listen to a lecture. Or even watch the sunrise while praising Allah. By afternoon I'm slowing down, I have to push myself to get some writing done. My energy is back around Iftar to make dua.
3. How's my daily schedule/daily routine? Is it optimal? Can I change it? Make it better? I still need to use/do more of my time around sahoor and Iftar. I do things, yet I do it slowly even if I'm at my best energy.
4. What's my biggest productivity challenge that I'm facing during Ramadan and how can I practically overcome it? I always listen to music when I'm writing, etc. I need to find some nasheed to replace that- I tried once and I feel really good to be productive and have Allah in mind.
5. How are my Ramadan Goals coming along? Am I sticking to them? or are they starting to slip? (see below)
My Progress:
Since day one I've been praying all five prayers on time.
Since day one I've been listening to one lecture a day (except for on day seven, eight, and nine).
Since day one I've been awake after sahoor. It lasted to day two. Then I did it again on day six, eight, and nine. (I forget to wake up for sahoor on day ten).
Since day four I'm reading a page or two of Quran (except for on day seven and eight).
This is just a reminder to myself to stay productive. Yet I do hope you all can hold me, anyone, everyone accountable (insha'Allah).
btw, when I'm not doing the above, I'm writing or learning to cook (:
